Bloodletting Activity

All members who have donated their blood last Feb 10, 2018 were really grateful for the experience and example of service and love for others. We are God's children, and each of us know how important it is to serve His people.

In Mosiah 2:17, it says:

"And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

During the interviews, everyone was inspired and motivated by that verse from Mosiah. And as an action, they thought that donating blood is one way to serve God and His children. They know that they can help and save lives. And we're also reminded by the Savior's example and His infinite atonement. They know how Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for the sins of the world and that serving others is not only about the spiritual things but physical things as well.

I am also greatful that I have the gospel in my life. I have come to know how to rely on the Lord while serving Him. I am happy that this is how the gospel works. I know God is very appreciative when we serve our fellow men. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
